This report provides an overview of the provisions of theinterim rule, as well as a brief synopsis of Sixth Amendment implications regardingintentional intrusion into the attorney-client relationship.On October 31, 2001, the Department of Justices Bureau of Prisons published aninterim rule in the Federal Register, effective October 30, 2001: (1) altering regulationsregarding the imposition of “special administrative measures” designed to prevent
