Theprogram, enacted in 1970, is the only federal program devoted solely to family planningand related preventive health services. Although the authorization for Title X endedwith FY1985, funding for the program has been provided through bills that provideappropriations for the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, andEducation, and Related Agencies. The Title X program received funding of $285.9million for FY2005 and the Administration has requested the same amount for FY2006.This report will be updated periodically.Title X Program Administration and Covered ServicesTitle X is administered through the Office of Population Affairs (OPA) under theOffice of
