Both have provided financial aid to bolster Ukraines political transition and economy,condemned Russias annexation of Crimea, and called for Russia to end its support of separatists ineastern Ukraine. They have also urged the full implementation of the September 2014 and February2015 ceasefire agreements.Following the annexation of Crimea in March 2014, the EU and the United States adopted a series ofvisa bans and asset freezes on several dozen Russian and Ukrainian individuals and entities.
